India has been at the centre of global attention to enhance its climate ambition and contribute to the global climate action delivery plan. The next few weeks ahead of the 26th session of the Conference of Parties, COP26 are crucial. October will be a critical month for diplomacy and climate geopolitics. UNGA has just ended and eyes are on G-20 to discuss climate once again ahead of the COP26 meetings, India faces its own challenge balancing development and growth for its 1.3 billion population while maintaining its global climate leadership.
