To generate and build knowledge on just transition, Climate Trends invites you to an online and interactive workshop on “Just Transition” to facilitate discussion on mainstreaming the idea to build support, foster deeper engagement with media, partners and stakeholders to forge the way towards equitable & just transition.
At a time when India is at a crossroads on energy transition and climate change discourse, we must take decisive action and transformative changes to protect the fate of the workers and communities dependent on coal for their livelihoods.
In that, just transition is a crucial component of the climate change discourse, especially since its inclusion in the Paris Agreement in 2015.
Despite the ongoing economic crisis, ending our dependence on fossil fuels remains the only choice to safeguard our future.
