All health studies prove that children are the most vulnerable to air pollution. While toxic air during Diwali and stubble burning season make news, the problem now persists through the year.
In an effort to document that whether children are safely at home or in their school environment, in a posh Delhi neighbourhood or a more exposed hotspot location of the city, there is no respite for them.
Our team hooked up low cost air quality monitors in the children’s school bags across 4 locations in the city and tracked the levels while they were at home. The readings prove that the environment these children are growing up in is no child’s play.
